Our featured guest on the 3RIPLE 3HREAT podcast this week is Carl "Shake" Thomas (CT).

Carl and Jermel met after Carl transferred from Western Kentucky to the College of Charleston. They immediately connected and the rest was history!

Shake was a 6’8 two guard that could shoot off the dribble, get to the cup and had a smooth catch and shoot jumper to go with his package. We had a lot of success as a team at the College of Charleston but in one of our biggest wins against UNC, Carl poured in 20!

Jermel and Carl were roommates so they spent a lot of time talking about basketball, family and life after basketball. Shake is doing all the things they spoke about, especially in the community. Tune in to 3RIPLE 3HREAT podcast to hear all about it!

Carl Thomas Bio:

Carl Thomas is a native of the beautiful St. Croix U.S. Virgin Islands. He grew up in Tampa, Florida and was a four-year letterman at Tampa Preparatory High School.

Through hard work and dedication, he was awarded a full ride scholarship to attend Western Kentucky University and then transferred to College of Charleston. There he was highlighted as one of the top 60 players in the country. He signed with San Antonio Spurs as an unrestricted free agent. After a short stint in the NBA, Carl was selected by Roanoke Dazzle of the CBA. He also spent several years internationally, winning two Championships in Japan and Dominion Republic.

Thomas retired from basketball and returned to the College of Charleston to obtain his B.S. in Business Administration. Carl moved back home to plant his feet into entrepreneurship, real estate and investing.
