Steven Nauwelaerts of AllWaves refers to competitors as collegues, a refreshing perspective in a field of inventors that grows more competitive each day. But Steven has a unique view of the space. He spent years doing the one thing that might be more difficult than creating waves in a wave tank: extrancting energy from naturally occuring waves. Steven is one of the few people to turn the equation on its head and make the transition from wave farm to wave pool. Perhaps it’s this ability to see waves in all forms that allows a higher up view of the rapidly accelerating wave pool space. Steven’s design, AllWaves, hit global news feeds last month. WavePoolMag was there to test out the new pillow technology and learn all we could about this very different wave generation system.
