This week on The Pod Charles Cinecast, presented by The Prince Charles Cinema, our hosts Jonathan Foster and Fil Freitas travel to the woods of Arizona, where they witness a lumberjack get abducted by a UFO. The boys are framed for murder when they attempt to report the incident to local police, but are cleared of the crime when the lumberjack returns five days later with a wild tale of intergalactic travels.

It's week 3 of I WANT TO BELIEVE, our Spooky Ooky alien season, and we are talking about one of the most notorious Alien Abduction films, about one of the most infamous UFO Abduction cases of all-time, the alleged 1975 abduction of Travis Walton. Walton wrote a book about his experience, which would be adapted for the 1993 film, FIRE IN THE SKY, starring D.B. Sweeney, Robert Patrick, Henry Thomas, and James Garner.

Armed with one of the most terrifying scenes in horror history, how does this film hold up 30 years later? Spoiler: That scene is still horrific! But, the rest of the film... Well, let just say Travis' real life story is a lot more interesting.

Join us, as we dive into this One Scene Wonder, talk Travis Walton's real life account, the theories of what actually happened, and even more alien conspiracy bollocks...

"They won't be back... I don't think they like me."
