  • 1947 - The Premio Strega, or Strega Prize, is created by Guido Alberti
  • 1998 - Strega gets into the confections business, with candies that feature Strega
  • Today - The fifth generation of the Alberti family is still running the company

Strega is a digestif, or after drinker drink, but mixes well with certain drinks. Try the Strega Tonic:

1 oz. Strega

1 oz. Gin

4 oz. tonic water
