New Years is a time for many to sit down, set goals and make some positive changes for the year ahead. Here at Critical Banter, it is time for us to change our intro (which is still TBC). For the first episode of the year, we have lost Sen to his pending court trial, however Kush kicks us off with his ongoing battle with Dell and whether one man can take on an entire multibillion dollar multinational company.

Rohit details the trials and tribulations Sen faced in a recent Bad Santa, whilst all the boys are trying to save face after scathing (and probably true) words have been published regarding their lack of sportsmanship and spirit in Ultimate Frisbee.

New Year, Same Critical Banter sacking off the segment introduced in the Logue. We have ‘Guess the Language’ as the first game of the year, where Rohit has translated a phrase into multiple languages and Miguel & Kush have to quite simply have to guess the language.

To actually kick off the year, the boys run through some New Years Resolutions - their own and some listener submitted ones on “New Year, New Me”. We have a run through some ambitious ones, such as watching a movie a week, and some very vague and immeasurable ones, such as becoming a better hugger, and call out whether we thinking it is a New Years Resolution that will actually be stuck to.
