Easter & Passover/ Women in “Herstory” Month…Women in Brewing (Pink Boots Society) Episode

For tonight’s show, we have a real treat for you! There are 2 themes going on. 1st we’re celebrating Easter/Passover and Women In “Herstory”…women in brewing!

While I wasn’t able to find any beers with little bunnies, chicks or eggs on them…I was able to find some delicious, lighter libations that represented the pretty spring colors that we start to find around this time!

The Easter/Passover Beers are:

42th North Source Seltzer- Strawberry & Lime: ABV 4% | IBUs N/ABrewed with real strawberry, lime juice, and hibiscus. Dry-hopped with Sabro.

Genesee Brewing – Ruby Red Kolsch: ABV 4.5% | IBUs 8Inspired by our German brewing lineage, we set out to brew a refreshing Kölsch, with a 21st-century update of ruby red grapefruit. The result is a crisp, bright golden ale with a bready malt body and a mild hop bitterness that complement the perfect addition of tart, mouthwatering grapefruit

Hamburg Brewing- Raspberry Lemon Kolsch: ABV 5.6% | IBUs N/AA clean, crisp, refreshing Kolsch fruited with copious amounts of raspberry and lemon. In this modern interpretation of the classic style, a subtle American malt base is balanced with citrus-heavy American hops for a refreshing finish.

Rusty Nickle Sour: ABV | IBUs

Women in History Month….Women in Brewing

Here in the US, Women have been sorely underrepresented in the brewing community. OF late, they have been gaining momentum in the craft beer & brewing scene. A major example of that is with the Pink Boots Society!

The Pink Boots Society Collab w/ Rusty Nickel: Hazy Girl: ABV 5.9% IBUs

Pillow Fight” – Dry-Hopped Cream Ale brewed with the ladies of the Pink Boots Society, Buffalo, NY Chapter.A crushable brew with a light body and creamy mouthfeel. Dry-hopped with a combination of this year’s Pink Boots hop blend, this beer has lots of floral and citrus
