Sheaf Valley: A show about Sheffield's startups is a podcast that gives platform to Sheffield-based startups and their founders, investors and stakeholders from the local ecosystem to talk about their organisations, to increase the connectedness within the ecosystem and raise awareness and the visibility of all the great ventures that are being started in the Steel City.
In episode 11 I spoke with Darren Forde from Samdai. Darren was a professional rugby player before deciding to build a startup as he identified a problem that many young people share. Then last year in reaction to Covid-19 he made a significant upgrade to his business and got involved with the local community, serving to them as a partner. Darren's answer to my question of what is his big, hairy, audacious goal for Samdai speaks a lot for himself so I would advise you to start the podcast now.
Sheaf Valley is supported by Sheffield Technology Parks, one of the integral parts of Sheffield's startup ecosystem.

Also please fill in this 2-minute poll to help me making the podcast better.
As always, thank you for listening and let's keep connecting Sheffield's startup ecosystem one episode at a time!
