What was the worst year ever? Maybe it depends on who you ask. If you ask your fearless leaders, we would probably say 2020. If you ask the people of Tanganyika, they'd probably tell you that it was 1961. Which, ironically, was no laughing matter. Carey Ann takes on the topic of Mass Hysteria through the lens of a mission-run boarding school where giggling girls turned into an eerie epidemic. Allie's take on the worst year ever may have been objectively worse - for those who survived it. What could cause a global drop in temperatures, the sun to go "missing", crop failure, and famine?
