This is one of the most commonly understood characteristic of ego. Egotistic, demanding, abusive: these are some of the terms used to describe ego because it is the easiest to observe. However, the characteristic of power wants to create unequal levels of being and worthiness among us. Power isn't only being in a position of power and control but it's also about giving your power away to someone else for whatever reason.
