Julissa Bermudez is an actress, dancer, beauty influencer and TV Host. After years in the industry's background hosting various shows and helping others tell their stories. Bermudez has her own show which is the first original series brought to CLEO TV by Kin x TV One Licensing Partnership along with Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix airing Fridays on CLEO TV. On the show, Julissa shares intimate stories with viewers from her early days as an immigrant from the Dominican Republic throughout her career. She focuses on her New York upbringing to moving to Los Angeles, discussing some of her life's faux-pas, and the launch of her new body care brand República Skin.
Bermudez’s show marks the first original series that Kin has brought to CLEO TV. Recently Kin partnered with CLEO TV to bring hit digital series Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix to the network this Fall. In addition, Kin previously licensed digital franchises All Things Adrienne starring Adrienne Bailon Houghton and Heart of the Batter featuring recording artist and lifestyle personality Jordin Sparks to CLEO TV.
Bermudez was a co-host on BET's most popular music video countdown show 106 & Park from 2005 until 2006, and the former host of Jersey Shore: After Hours and related Jersey Shore specials and reunions for earlier seasons. She co-starred alongside recording artist and actress Adrienne Bailon in their own reality series, Empire Girls: Julissa and Adrienne which airs on the Style network.While attending New York's Talent Unlimited High School as a theatre major, Bermudez started auditioning and modeling. She got her first big break with a Coca-Cola commercial, and she was one of the six finalists who competed to represent singer Jennifer Lopez's sweetface fashion line. Bermudez was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and raised in Elmhurst, Queens, New York.
