Herjola Spahiu used to be a banker. But when the global financial crisis struck she turned her attention to the people that needed help the most. Through microfinancing her company NOA invests millions of euros into projects across Albania from farming to boat building.

In this episode we learn about Herjola's journey in microfinancing. We also speak to Daniel Perroud, whose firm Blue Orchard is one of the many investors that finance the microfinanciers.
