Gravensteen is a beautiful medieval castle built in 1180 and located in Ghent, Belgium. This historical landmark has been repurposed over the years as a court, mint, prison, and factory. With all of this history, what stands out the most? An event in November of 1949 when 138 students from the University of Ghent stormed the castle to protest a hot topic: the price of beer.

During the second part of the episode, we go on a journey told from the source, Aimo Koivunen.
