Plot twist: LGBTQ+ people have always existed! I know, even our resident gay Whitley is completely shocked. This week, we are talking about lavender marriages in 1920's Hollywood. A lavender marriage is a male–female mixed-orientation marriage, undertaken as a marriage of convenience to conceal the sexual orientation of one or both partners. The glitz, the glamour, the gayz.
In the latter half of the episode, Whitley rants about Vladimir Putin yet again and continued aggressions in Eastern Europe. This week...the conflict between Russia, Georgia, and two separatists Georgian provinces. We can all guess who gets unnecessarily involved in this one. Will we ever learn?
