Business owners face a lot of tough decisions, and sometimes, even tougher ones implementing them. One of the trickier ones occurs after the company is sailing along, and it has to take the big step of replacing the owner (in that role) with an experienced sales manager.

Usually, the owner serves as the sales manager, hiring and managing a small sales force of sales people. But in order to reach its full growth potential it becomes necessary to hire a professional sales manager to manage sales and your team.

In this episode, our hosts, Lonnie Sciambi and Stan Simkins, also known, respectively, as “The Entrepreneur’s Yoda” and “The Family Biz Doc” will give you some indicators about when and how to make the transition during the process of hiring the right individual who fits your business, your culture and how to manage and compensate this individual.
