Welcome to episode 104, in this episode I have the honor of interviewing Bishop Linda Rounds-Nichols.

Although not recognized as such at the time, Linda’s first call to the ministry may have been when she wasn’t yet a teenager. Since no one saw that situation as a call, she followed another dream and became an educator: first a teacher, then a counselor, then a central office administrator, and finally a principal. She also served as an adjunct instructor in higher education, so throughout her career, her students ranged from pre-school to post-grads.

As her tenure in education was ending, that call to the ministry returned, in invitations to study programs, questions from church people, and finally during one of the times she held the chalice while assisting with communion. She noticed, fought the call, then followed.

Bishop Linda is now the director of Public Relations and Communications with the Catholic Apostolic Church of Antioch, dean emerita of Sophia Divinity School and church historian.
