Dr. Ed Damer, Professor of Philosophy at Emory & Henry College for 45 years, died on March 21, 2024.

This tribute presents a look at Ed through the eyes of several close colleagues and his weekly lunch group. Special attention is given to Ed's focus on logic, his love of fun conversation, and his service to the Abingdon Rotary club where he directed the annual Frolics performance.

Ed leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Nancy Jean Bradford, four children and six grandchildren.

This program originally aired on April 3, 2024, at which time a celebration of Ed's life was scheduled for May 18 at 2:00 at the McGlothlin Center for the Arts on the Emory & Henry campus.

Tributes to Ed are available through his named Rotary Scholarship at Emory & Henry.
