As Norway opened up after a couple month of Covid 19 restrictions I finally was able to head over to Samoa's studio for a chat. On an exceptional warm summer day we talked about her artistic process of intense exploration. Samoa Rémy is currently a PhD fellow in artistic research at KHIO (Oslo National Academy of the Arts) We dig into the way she explores and approaches a wide range of subjects ranging from the scientific to the esoteric, from the symbolic to the historical.
