Paul Simon from the Atlanta Law Firm of Hedgepeth Heredia joins this weeks episode of Sports ‘N Torts. Paul and his firm specialize in all types of Family Law Cases and he sure knows what he is talking about in these cases.
We talk with Paul about how he got into family law and what he likes about helping families through what is often very difficult times – as you may imagine he has seen just about everything. He explains how he views the divorce process and how initial meetings go with his clients. Paul is very big on honesty and setting proper expectations. We learn about the nuts and bolts of how custody battles work and the role children play in choosing which parent they live with. He tells us how Judges look at custody battles. We learn about adoption cases and how good they make everyone feel. Paul also educates us on our pre-nups and post-nups. He explains what is meant by the billboards advertising “uncontested divorces”.
Paul enjoys marketing and business development. As a young lawyer, he has been very successful in his efforts and he shares some of the tips that have worked for him. He is also wise in how he views his relationship with opposing counsel in the small Family Law Bar.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys music and playing golf. Paul has a unique approach to both that I knew you will enjoy hearing.
