Dr. Sharif earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tehran, and a PhD from the Ontario Veterinary College. Alongside his role as the Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies, Dr. Sharif is also the University of Guelph's new interim associate vice-president research. In this role, he oversees the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance, one of the largest single research agreements at the University.
