What is it like to serve in public office in a large and diverse city during the pandemic?
In this episode, we speak to Assemblymember Luz Rivas, who represents Assembly District 39 in the City of Los Angeles, in a region of the San Fernando Valley. This is a region where there is a population of Hispanic/Latinx and Spanish speaking neighborhoods who face the challenges of navigating information, administrative paperwork, and providing essential services to the region.
