Our guest this week, Allana Davis, shares her journey from being on the streets and in shelters from the age of 16 to launching her own business and luxury beauty studio in her late 30s after almost 20 years on social assistance. Following her passion for beauty as a means to bond with women also in the system and connecting by healing through trauma, Allana infuses both beauty and energy healing in her business now to help women feel beautiful inside and out.
Allana Davis is an accomplished medical aesthetician, creative makeup artist and hair stylist. With over 16 years of experience working with high profile clients on projects featured in television and print media, her diverse background and experience make her a unique voice in the beauty industry.
Allana’s work has been featured by E! Entertainment Television, CTV, 20th Century Fox, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Toronto Fashion Week, Holt Renfrew, Top Chef Canada, and The Real Housewives, just to name a few.
As the owner of a private medically directed studio located in the Yorkville area of Toronto, Allana offers innovative skincare treatments and works with world renowned photographers, designers, models, and stylists.
With a firm belief in integrity, gratitude and beauty starting within, Allana is an advocate for self-love and acceptance. As a person of colour herself, she is passionate about representation in the beauty industry and offering services tailored to all backgrounds, life stages and ethnicities.
