Storytelling is an ancient art that has existed since the beginning of humankind. Originally, stories were used as a way to warn others about dangers or to teach moral lessons. Over time, storytelling evolved and became a way to entertain others. Today, there are many different types of storytelling, from books and movies to plays and songs. No matter the form, storytelling is a powerful way to connect with others and create lasting memories.

In today's episode of To Huaa Yon, Sharlie Wason discusses the (Hi)story of storytelling and the types of stories in different regions of the world, from the earliest forms to modern styles of storytelling.
