We begin with “I'll Forgive You, But I Can't Forget” by Roy Acuff. Some technical difficulties with Dave's microphone, so we segue to Mac Wiseman and Blues in My Mind. Deep Water by Carl Smith is next followed by Claude King, with a song titled “Wolverton Mountain. Dave predicts that Ricky Skaggs will someday be inducted into The Country Music Hall of Fame. That happened in 2018. Highway 40 Blues by Ricky Skaggs is next from 1983. "Hello Walls" is an American country music song written by Willie Nelson and first recorded by Faron Young. It became a massive hit in 1961, reaching #1 country. it's up next. Dave plays a Willie Nelson song next - On The Road Again. Dave mentions “The Outlaw Movement” and we hear Waylon Jennings - Only Daddy That'll Walk The Line. We now hear “Stranger” by Johnny Duncan with Janie Fricke. It written by Kris Kristofferson. Dave gives a biography of Johnny Duncan. That's the first 30 minutes, there's 90 more minutes to go. They were forgotten by The Country Music Industry, Country Radio, and even The Grand Ole Opry – Pioneers of Country proudly remember those artists, and the music they made popular.
