Howdy partners! On this episode we feature Randy Bowns. A local, long time farmer in the area who takes us through what its like to be a farmer in the local area.
It was really interesting to us to hear how they plan out their fields and decide what crops they will be planting that year. It really comes down to how much water they get allocated for the year which they don't always know until it gets closer to the regular season.
Farming is an educated guess and check system that most people don't appreciate. We hope this episode gives you a little different insight into what farmers actually do.
