Heather Wilson is a former bedside nurse turned nurse entrepreneur. She spotted a simple gap in the market: the fact that the elderly would struggle to care for their own feet on account of increased inflexibility.

Heather decided to make up for the lack of proper routine foot care services available for America's aging population and within two short years, she was able to leave the bedside and transition into the 'full-time hustle' that is her business, Everyday Divinity.

After letting other nurses 'pick her brain' on how to follow suit, Heather then decided to launch The Foot and Nail Institute, which focuses on training nurses on how to launch their own senior foot care business.

Heather's enthusiasm for the work she does is tangible, and her impact is great. Nurses looking to claim work-life balance can do so by becoming foot care business owners themselves.

And that starts with this motivational message from Heather and our hosts Christal and Kiiyonna which focuses on how nurses can overcome the indoctrination that happens in orientation in order to pursue entrepreneurial success.

If we can attend to a broken foot as a nurse, we can most certainly start a business caring for the feet of the elderly that just need a little TLC! Please join us!

If there's a business that you're thinking of nurses, and it's laying on your heart, build it! Because odds are it's something that's lacking in the world."
~ Heather Wilson
