Are you suffering from burnout as a nurse? This is not a new topic for nurses – and yet, it's still a hot topic. Christal and Kiiyonna are addressing ways to beat burnout in this episode of Nurse Boss Shift which is all about solutions.

Of course, solutions start with identifying that you have a problem. If your patients can tell that you're overtired, that's a clear sign. If all you want to do after your shift is over is go home and sleep, that's a sign.

And with the number of nurses who are leaving the bedside increasing, coupled with the statistics on the decreasing number of nurses who are entering this challenging profession, now is an important time to unpack burnout and offer guidance to any nurses out there who may be struggling.

Nursing is not easy, we know that. Can we figure out ways to bring better balance to our profession? Let's find out.

"You can be sick. You can get physically ill as a result of burnout."

~ Christal Parker.
