The plaintiff says she worked with the defendant, and she introduced her co-plaintiff so their dogs could breed. She claims they were each supposed to get a puppy, but the defendant didn’t follow through, so they’re suing. The defendant says the plaintiff wanted to mate a female pup with its father, and she said she refused to give them a dog so she could protect the litter. They’re countersuing for pain and suffering.

The plaintiff says she moved out of the defendant’s neglected, dilapidated apartment, but he won’t return her security deposit. She’s suing for double damages. The defendant says the plaintiff opened a can of worms because she and her son trashed the place. He’s countersuing for damages.

The plaintiff says she bought her son a hoverboard from the defendant’s store. The state law says her son was too young to use it, so she tried to return it, but the defendant refused. She’s suing for a refund. The defendant says the law applies to another state. He said he made it clear that he only issues store credit, not refunds.
