The Queensland, Australia, police department has prohibited spit hoods in the city's watchtowers in favor of other tactics. This new strategy is known as an open and closed hand. As a resident of Australia, I was not surprised by the news, as the Spit Hood approach has generated numerous issues in Australia. Consequently, many individuals are pleased with this new development. In my Barry Humfrey Geraldton, I disapproved of the use of spit hoods on the heads of captives. I am aware of the reason why the usage of hoods by criminals was frowned upon in Australia. Probably because the material can suffocate the prisoner. The fabric covers the full face, including the mouth and nostrils. I mean, image being unable to breathe and see while being covered by a sack bag. The sack will restrict airflow, which could result in death. I do not appreciate the use of the sack in any way.
