I'm thrilled to be here today on my 61st birthday! Birthdays are a perfect time for reflection and gratitude, and today, I'm embracing the privilege of ageing—something not afforded to everyone, especially after a cancer diagnosis.

Inspired by Helen Mirren's candid advice, I explore the importance of being true to yourself and the liberating process of caring less about others' opinions as we grow older.

Join me as I delve into personal growth and self-assurance, sharing lessons on setting boundaries and maintaining integrity.

Whether you're struggling with life's pressures or celebrating your triumphs, remember: not everyone will like you, and that's okay. The people who matter will love you for being authentically you.

So tune in, reflect with me, and let's appreciate the journey of getting older together.

Here are the highlights:

(1:04) Aging, self-acceptance, and personal growth.

(2:47) Advice to your younger self.

(5:11) Overcoming fear and improving sleep quality.

(7:58) Meditation and holidays.

If you like Confidence After Cancer, please continue to listen and give it a follow wherever you get your podcasts. Remember also to share with your friends and family, as it will really help this show help as many people as possible.
