Dr. Charlie Dyer served as provost and professor of Bible at Moody Bible Institute before becoming host of The Land and the Book radio program. Dr. Dyer is an Old Testament scholar as well as an authority on Middle Eastern history and religion. For the past 35 years he has traveled extensively throughout Israel and the Middle East. Dr. Dyer has authored and co-edited many books on the Middle East and the Old Testament, including The Christian Traveler’s Guide to the Holy Land, 30 Days in the Land with Jesus, and 30 Days in the Land of Psalms. In addition to hosting The Land and the Book, Dr. Dyer continues to serve as associate pastor of Grace Bible Church in Sun City, Arizona.
