In today's episode, Todd sat down with TJ Parks, the former Superintendent of Hobbs Municipal Schools.
TJ Parks was inducted into the New Mexico Coalition of Education Leaders Hall of Fame in July 2021.
Hobbs Supt. TJ Parks was named New Mexico School Superintendent of the Year by the New Mexico Coalition of Educational Leaders Association (NMCELA) in July of 2015. Parks was selected for the honor from among the 88 other superintendents in the state.
He took over as HMS superintendent in the summer of 2010 after serving in other HMS district administrative posts for almost three years. Prior to that, he was superintendent for the Tatum school district for 21 years. Parks also coached and was a high school principal in Tatum.
