After attending SBT GRVL in 2021, Marley Blonsky had an idea - to bring other marginalized riders to the race, in a supportive, team cohort format. After a wildly successful first attempt in 2022, the All Bodies on Bikes SBT GRVL team came back for 2023.
Fifteen people from across the US and Canada were chosen for our 2023 team out of nearly 200 applicants. After prepping all year with the support of numerous sponsors including Wahoo, Skratch, Fat Tire, Lazer, and Pearl Izumi, the team gathered for the first time in Steamboat last month.
This episode takes us through that weekend in real-time, from pre-race interviews to post-race reflections from the team.
