Peter's bio:
Peter Cowen is founder and Managing Director of Sutton Capital Partners, a technology investment bank focused on SaaS and fintech. Peter has advised dozens of companies on selling their company, raising debt and equity and strategic planning,
He co-founded one of the largest Southern California tech conferences, the Recurring Revenue Conference which is focused on retention strategies with the top entrepreneurs, investors and advisors in the community.
Previously, Peter co-founded 3 tech companies, one in computer networks, another in logistics optimization and the third in biometrics security. Two were sold to public companies and the other to a Bain-backed venture.
He has also been an active angel investor with over 100 early stage investments and an LP in over a dozen seed VC funds. He has sat on 12 boards of directors of institutionally backed ventures.
Peter is Senior Faculty Advisor at UCLA Anderson School of Management overseeing the Masters Thesis program on entrepreneurship for the fully employed MBA students.
