God jul! Buon Natalie! Whether you’re going home for Christmas or you hate Christmas, we’ve got you covered. Or Netflix certainly does. In our first official Christmas episode of the season, we’re talking “Hjem til Jul” (“Home for Christmas”) and “Odio il Natale” (“I Hate Christmas”).

It’s an annual event that we rewatch “Hjem til Jul,” this fabulous Norwegian rom com by Per-Olav Sørensen. He also created “A Storm for Christmas,” featuring some of the same actors from “Hjem til Jul.” “Hjem til Jul” is about a 30yo nurse who has 24 days to find a boyfriend to bring home for Christmas Eve dinner with her family. This show is absolutely adorable and full of laughs and joy.

“Odio il Natale” is essentially an Italian remake of “Hjem til Jul” that takes place in Venice. Season two just came out last week. It’s also sweet and cheerful. Check them both out and make them part of your holiday tradition!

Next week: More Christmas cheer with “Elf” (20th anniversary!) and “Die Hard” (35th anniversary!).
