This episode is dedicated to Jerzy Rawicki, holocaust survivor and father of our guest, Andrew Rawicki.

Andrew and his wife JoAnna have created a legacy of faith and love for their six children and ten grandchildren. After recounting his journey to the Church and his courtship with his wife, Andrew shares the harrowing tale of his father’s escape from the Warsaw Ghetto during WWII and the struggles, losses, and victory that ensued.

After experiencing this episode, we encourage you to watch the online documentary Behind the Wall about Jerzy’s escape.

Andrew is a convert to the Catholic faith, entering the church in 1991. He then followed his wife, JoAnna, into Regnum Christi in 2001 after attending Encounters with Christ and Spiritual Exercises on the Northshore of New Orleans. Andrew and JoAnna retired to Dallas, Texas, in 2019, where they now live near four of their six children and eight of their ten grandchildren.
