Returning to Lepidstadt, our heroes trace down the origin of the mysterious surgical tools found in Morast. They go over their defense strategy with Gustav, and the Beast gets a name.

Not having access to the great poets of Taldor, I have borrowed from one of the Romantic poets of Earth - George Gordon, Lord Byron. The poem the Beast recites is the first stanza of "When We Two Parted," written in 1816 CE. This poem is in the public domain.
