Cat Pierce is a Los Angeles based singer-songwriter best known as being half of The Pierces. After more than 15 years of being in a band with her sister Allison Pierce Cat has released a run of brilliant singles in the last few years as well as becoming a Mum and releasing her own beautifully painted Tarot Cards. The Pierces Biography

The Pierces took root in the siblings' hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. Home-schooled by their musician father and painter mother, the Pierce girls were encouraged in the arts from a young age, and quickly learned to play guitar and harmonize. Though they both became accomplished ballerinas, by 1995 Catherine and Allison had left dance to attend Auburn University and play music. Sony soon took interest in the duo's sound, and the Pierces moved to Nashville to record their self-titled debut album. Appearing in 2000, The Pierces was a slick blend of folk harmonizing and adult alternative textures. 'You and I' was released in 2011 followed up by 'Creation' in 2014.
