Ep 66: A Real Fear of Success
What’s holding you back from success? Anxiety, the unknown, your confidence, the details of how to get it all done?
I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was fearing success itself. I did some research (as I do whenever I start hitting roadblocks when facing change) and I discovered that the Jonah Complex is the actual fear of success. It’s a real thing! I’m not crazy! (Well, not for that at least.)
From scaling my business and having great success in the Pitch Day program I completed, to winning multiple awards for my podcasts and speeches I delivered with so many new opportunities that followed, I was seeing God giving me signs along the way to keep pursuing these lofty goals.
Are you getting those kinds of signs? If so, fear and anxiety will have to take a backseat! We’ve got big dreams to create!
