  1. Poor oral hygiene: Inadequate brushing and flossing can lead to the buildup of food particles and bacteria in the mouth, resulting in bad breath. To treat this, make sure to brush your teeth twice a day and floss daily to remove food debris and plaque.
  2. Dry mouth: Saliva helps cleanse the mouth by washing away bacteria. A dry mouth can occur due to factors such as medication side effects, breathing through the mouth, or certain medical conditions. To alleviate dry mouth, stay hydrated, consider using artificial saliva products, and discuss the issue with your healthcare provider if it persists.
