We start our new series on community protection with Marquinn McDonald of Watchguard Chicago. McDonald is a master of self-defense. Studying and teaching martial arts as well as competing in martial arts competitions he teaches self-defense to men, women and children. He mentors young men and works with others to organize community towards village values and self-responsibility and protection. His Watchguard organization patrols Chicago’s South side neighborhoods in order to take extreme ownership for the Chicago streets that we call home. Watchguard is available for coaching you to start block clubs and form block chains in order to take an active role in the protection of yourself, your family, your neighborhood and city.
