In this episode we take a look at how successful our predictions were last week...

Now predicting the EFL Championship is near impossible at the best of times.... but last week seemed to throw up even more chaos than usual. Who was the winner of our Man v Machine challenge?

This got avid thinking.... we say that we love the unpredictability of the EFL Championship.... but is this usually the way? David came up with a random results generator (as he does - how he does these things is beyond me!). This gave us a baseline of how unpredictable the EFL Championship has been over the past 6 seasons.

This made us wonder whether the EFL Championship is actually more unpredictable than other leagues... or is this just a bias that we've become blind to? We'll look into this in future episodes no doubt.

David used an updated version of his original algorithm to see if he can do better this week... and it will be interesting to see if we can develop something over time that consistently helps us predict results better than intuition and luck.

The EFL Championship Team of the Season was announced, and we were interested to see whether our 'Attacking Team of the Season' and 'Player of the Season' would differ. Again.... it will raise a few eyebrows no doubt.

Enjoy the show, and remember to let us know your suggestions for your player of the season, and what players you would have put into your own Team of the Season'.
