In this episode, bi-vocational pastor, Jeremy Sparks joins Travis on a thought provoking conversation around Jeremy's unique vantage of seeing the world through the lenses of being both a pastor and firefighter. These two roles remind Jeremy everyday just how fleeting life is. The two discuss Jeremy's vision and heart for the church he planted 10 years ago in South Carolina. They also talk about Jeremy's work as a fire fighter and some of what that world entails.

Jeremy shares about the bi-directional inspiration and influence these two very different vocations have on one another for him. His leadership, service, and sense of calling and community are all refined powerfully in both. Interestingly, each world also helps sharpen his understanding of the other.

He talks about seeing all of life as worship and that there is not one calling that is more sacred over the other. Jeremy has some great tips to share also on creating rhythms in our lives to be healthier. He has a huge heart for Jesus, for people, and seeing people released into their passions to glorify God and illuminate the world with the hope that is within them.
