In society, we’ve always looked up to leaders to help guide our paths in life. When the term “Leader” is used, most people think of business owners, politicians, athletes, or entertainers. But I think some of our most important leaders, are educators.

Whether you were homeschooled or attended school, you had to learn about the world through the guidance of an adult. Someone who dedicated their lives to give you the tools to be successful. In my case, the person that’s responsible for my knowledge and technical success, I met in college. And since I went to a small school, I had 14 classes with her over the course of 4 years.

I genuinely don’t think I’d be where I am today without her guidance, support, and dedication to her craft. She’s even inspired me to become an educator myself, as I’m currently teaching the same subject she taught me back when I was in school.

Our guest today is an educator who is fearless, breaks stigmas in her field, and is a shining example of why educators deserve our respect and gratitude.
