The Order of the 9th Hour and Great Vespers for the 1st Saturday of the Great Fast, wherein we begin the commemoration of the 1st Sunday of the Great Fast, the Triumph of [External] Orthodoxy, especially focusing on the use of Icons in worship. It is also the beginning of a Week of Tone 1 and, this year, the fore-feast of the Great Feast of the Annunciation on Monday.
