The Order of Great Compline, with the Canon of the Saint of one of the days of Holy Week and Bright Week. On the 5th Thursday we take the Canon of the saint of Bright Thursday, this year May 9th. There are two commemorations for this day: The Transfer of the Relics of St Nicholas from Myra to Bari & the Holy Prophet Isaias and the Holy Martyr Christopher. St Nicholas' feast is of sufficient rank that it will be combined with Bright Week celebrations this year. Therefore at today's Compline the Canon is of the other commemoration.
