There is an epidemic of bad gifting going on right now. Last Christmas, 72% of people believed they had received a gift that was ‘disappointing’ or ‘weird’. And nearly one in four said they’d received such a bad gift that it had actually led to an argument.

In today's episode, Ziba and Raphy hack the brain of the 'the bad gift receiver' and unwrap the behavioural science behind giving the perfect present.

They speak to Professor Julian Givi, whose research explores consumer behaviour decision making in the context of gift purchasing. Then, you'll hear Raphy go undercover to put our psychology to the test buy presenting a notoriously difficult gift-receiver her engagement present.
