In the first of a two-part interview, I speak with film director James Michael McCoy about his phenomenal documentary, More Joy Less Pain, and his new cut of the film More Joy Less Pain (The Life of Peter Gorman).

Most of what we now know about the Amazonian frog medicine - sapo - would still be unknown to us, if it wasn't for Peter's courage to try it. In fact, he was the first gringo to experience the powerful medicine. He devoted his time and energy to studying the secretion's effects by multiple applications to his own skin. Eventually, he wrote a mind-blowing book about it called Sapo In My Soul.

Due to his dedication and fearlessness, thousands have experienced the healing effects of sapo.

So, one might ask:

Is the frog medicine a miracle cure?

Is there a difference between sapo and kambo?

Can sapo fight covid?

This, and many more intriguing questions, are answered by James, as he describes how he filmed a documentary in the jungle - with no budget!
