Three ways to close the Burnout Gender Gap With Kelly Swingler

Burnout is becoming an increasingly prevalent concern, especially among women in the workforce, and it's timely to talk about this topic in the latest episode of my podcast with our guest speaker Kelly Swingler, a Burnout Recovery Strategist.

Have you ever pushed yourself too hard to get a promotion or be recognized at work?

It's not a secret that everyone wants to advance in their careers, but when does it start to get toxic and lead to burnout? Success, for most overachievers, means more work. Even when your body doesn't agree, your mind still wants to do the job. Because as women, we were conditioned by society as givers and nurturers, the ones who have to be there for others. That's why surveys say more women experience burnout than men.

In this episode, we talked about:

  • how Kelly decided to reassess everything in life and work because of burnout

  • redefining success and breaking the burnout cycle

  • what is burnout gender gap

  • toxic workplace as the number one cause of burnout

  • God didn't create us to be someone we are not

  • three things to avoid burnout and close the burnout gender gap
