Did you know that your home can directly impact your spiritual and self-development? In fact, it’s essential that the energy of our home supports our healing and overall well-being. It’s not uncommon for women to feel overwhelmed by life and notice that their homes feel chaotic too, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Through interior design and Feng Shui, it is possible to create a harmonious environment that nurtures our spirit and enhances our lives.

Whitney’s guest, Sara Ann Kostelnik is the founder of Jade Scott Design. She works with clients as an interior designer consultant and is the host of The Mind, Body, Home Podcast. During their conversation, Sarah shares her unique approach called mind, body, home alignment. She also talks about the concept of clutter as a manifestation of emotions, the practice of clarity cleaning and the importance of creating restful spaces.

This conversation isn’t about having a Pinterest-perfect home, but rather getting curious about what your home can tell you about your own unmet needs or perhaps emotional clutter. It’s also about getting you to think about your home as an ally rather than a source of stress.

Here’s what you can look forward to in today’s episode:

  • The philosophy of the mind, body, and home connection
  • If you’re feeling overwhelmed in your life, chances are you’re feeling overwhelmed in your home
  • Some of the areas in the home Sara peeks at right away if a woman is complaining about her home
  • The energetic element to your home
  • The idea of “clarity cleaning” and what it means
  • Why it’s important to be able to relax in your own home
  • What to do if clutter is accumulating

Reflection question to ponder: Where are you cluttered in mind, body, and home?
