Often when we're thinking about changing our lives and transforming things for the better, we tend to complicate things and it's overwhelming. Today, I'm going to cover one thing that if we get right, everything in our life can change very quickly. But also, it's one thing that most of us are walking around not thinking about or doing anything about every day, and therefore is keeping us stuck. So let's talk about self-concept.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Why many of the concepts that make up our own self-concept aren't objectively true

  • What self concept is and what we need to know about it

  • Three different areas you can break up your self-concept into

  • Why your perception weighs more than the facts

  • What to do when frustrating circumstances or painful feelings arise

All of your actions, your feelings, your behaviour, and even your abilities are consistent with the image you hold of yourself, and you will always act consistently with that image. That is why recreating that image is so important. This will make you able to create a response to life rather than just allowing life to happen to you.
